He began his journey in the entertainment industry at the age of five and has since developed a distinguished portfolio across film, celebrity protection, and high-level security operations.
His on-screen credits include stunt work in major motion pictures such as Twelve Monkeys, Fallen, Condition Red, and the television series New York Undercover. He also appeared in the music video “Thank You” by Boyz II Men.
Dr. Burno has provided elite protection services for a wide range of prominent R&B and gospel artists, including Boyz II Men, Dave Hollister, Marc Nelson, and CeCe Peniston, among others. His reputation is built on discipline, discretion, and operational excellence at the highest level.
Beyond entertainment, Dr. Burno’s commitment to community service has earned him numerous honors, including recognition from the Leukemia Society, the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, and commendations associated with the 6 ABC Philadelphia ’ Thanksgiving Day Parade. His humanitarian work has impacted communities on a national level.
He is a dedicated member of the Guardian Angels, where he has served as both a trainer and chapter leader, and is also affiliated with the Prince Hall Freemasonry.
Dr. Burno holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from North Carolina Central University and a Master of Science in Personal Protection with a concentration in Intelligence Management from Henley-Putnam University.
He was also awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Executive Protection from Upper Room Theological University, recognizing his leadership, impact, and contributions to the field of executive protection and community service.
In 2009, Dr. Burno was recognized by U.S. Senators, members of Congress, state leadership, and local municipalities as a leading figure in community affairs and humanitarian service. On March 15, 2010, he received a Congratulatory Citation from Barack Obama for his distinguished service and dedication to humanity.
